Pile Height Gauge
The STE Pile Height Gauge is a surface assessment tool used to measure the free pile height of an artificial turf surface or grass length of a natural or hybrid turf surface. A stainless steel frame supporting an angled mirror and scale allows free grass or pile length to be measured in increments of 1 mm from 1 mm to 40 mm. To use the Pile Height Gauge the operator places the tool flat on the surface to be tested. Looking directly down at the angled mirror, the height of grass/pile can be measured.
